This compact 198 hp sports model was unveiled to the world at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, and has been in the limelight since then in various nations. Radically modern in outlook, the new Civic type-R is a class apart, with its obvious red Honda badge, high waistline, triangular exhaust pipes, and impressive rear spoiler. The overwhelming interiors are also something to boast about, with an impressive rev counter and three-spoke steering wheel, and all relevant controls placed conveniently. Red is the predominant color and the seats are styled with black Alcantara bolsters, red fabric seat cushions and backs. The brake with its four-piston Brembo calipers effectively does its designated job.
